If your home was built over 20 years ago, chances are the insulation is not efficient, and costing you $100’s if not $1,000s of dollars a year in high energy bills. As of 2022 for Zones 5-8, which covers most of Colorado, EnergyStar.gov recommends a minimum insulation of R38 to R60 to ensure you have a comfortable home. Currently as of 2022 there is a tax rebate for energy efficient upgrades to your home like adding solar and insulation.

If you’ve considered adding a high efficiency furnace you should first consider adding insulation, as insulation can provide a much better ROI, especially when combined with a newer more energy efficient system, that can make your home more comfortable and save you some of hard earned cash. This is why we started offering Insulation services to our Customers!

There are several types of insulation that you can put in your home, but the type we offer and recommend is Atticat Pink Blow In Insulation. It is a fiberglass loose fill blow in insulation that is a low cost way to easily increase the efficiency and comfort of your home. It is also a quality product that doesn’t settle over time like cellulose or other types of insulation, which means it will keep your home insulated for years to come and not lose its effectiveness over time. If you’d like a free estimate the first step is to schedule us to come out for a free inspection to see if you even need insulation, and if you do we will provide you with a quote on what the investment would be.

To schedule an appointment Call Us or Text Us and we can get you scheduled at a time convenient for you. We also have package discounts and bundles available when you combine Insulation with a new HVAC system installation.

On a separate note, there is a type of insulation we strongly recommend against and that is Spray Foam insulation. The reason is that spray foam is highly toxic and off gases, especially when installed incorrectly which happens more often than you think. Although it can be an effective way to increase efficiency, the chemicals used are known to be very toxic. We wouldn’t put it in our homes which is why we wouldn’t put it in yours!
